Thanksgiving is officially over and its finally time to put Christmas decorations up. My husband is a STRONG believer in giving Thanksgiving a chance to shine, and not having ANY Christmas decorations up until Thanksgiving is over. This was actually the first year that I broke the rules and put our tree up early (Sorry babe). I love this time of year so much! There is just something about having the tree up, curling up on the couch with a warm blanket and my kiddos, and watching Christmas movies!
Christmas is one of my favorite holidays to decorate for. I go all out for the Christmas tree. It has to be magazine worthy! I went for the white and rose gold theme this year. I love all things soft and fuzzy. I had been on the hunt for feather ornaments and could not find any that I liked anywhere. I can be pretty crafty at times so I decided to make our own.
I took a glass ornament and hot glued a few white feathers on to it. It was exactly what I had been envisioning for the tree and it cost less than $10.
And of course, whatever theme we have for the tree has to flow through the entire house. I took a few of our extra decorations from the tree and threw them on this wreath. We have an open floor plan so this wreath on the kitchen window is perfect for the flow of the decorations through out the house.
